Cup Topper (how to kitty proof your water glasses!)

Our cat, Tanischa loves to drink water out of everything else (toilet, sink, water glasses etc.) BUT her own water dish a lot of the time. She has this annoying habit of drinking freshly poured water out of our glasses or at least trying to, especially if they are left unattended for any length of time.

So, in order to remedy this, I created this very simple 3d model to make cup toppers to place over top of the water glasses when they need to be left alone to keep the cat from drinking out of them. They fit perfectly over top of glasses that are three and a half inches in diameter, but the model can be scaled or resized to meet one's individual needs! So, if YOUR kitty or kitties do this, this will work for you!!

Print instructions

Import STL file into your favorite slicer program (Cura, Slic3r, Slic3r PE, Prusa Slicer 2.0, Simplify 3D, Others).

Resize/scale model to desired size, add additional instances if desired.

Change printer settings to your liking, slice, generate gcode, PRINT!!...or just try the gcode file that I made. I printed this on a Prusa MK3S 3d printer.

A topper will takes about 5 hours to print, depending on speed or settings used...and they work great.

You will now be able to enjoy clean water without your cat taking advantage of opportunities to drink it :)
