LowRider 3 CNC - two remixes of Rail Blocks (23.4 mm and 18.1 mm) for Unistrut and 1-½" Aluminum Square Tube

I had created a couple of different remixes of the LowRider v3 rail blocks (Y rail mounts), one for my router based LR3 (#1 — 23.4 mm), and another one for my plasma based LR3 (#2 — 18.1 mm).

These both have a narrower footprint than the original rail blocks, for fitting onto either unistrut (#1) for my router based LR3, or 1-½" Aluminum Square Tube (#2) for my plasma based LR3.

In the attached photos, the two pics with red tool chest in background are #2, and the other pic is of #1.

Again…

• Rail Block remix #1 is for 23.4 mm OD tubing
• Rail Block remix #2 is for 18.1 mm OD tubing

Print info:

• Print as oriented*
• Print without supports
• You will want these printed strong. I printed with 0.6 mm nozzle, with 4x4x4 (4 walls on both top, bottom, and perimeter walls) and 70% infill. The same settings could work for 0.4 nozzle. As soon you start tightening screws into them you will be glad you made them strong.

*If you don't care for the #1 remix printed standing up, you might try it with it rotated on its side like both the original and the #2 remix. I printed it standing up. The layer direction adhesion issue means printed standing up gives more strength where the screw attaches it, while printed sideways gives more strength where the bar is held.
