Hopefully this can help you all get a good first layer, with that bigger nozzle. When you switch to a new nozzle, naturally you're going to want to check you first layer. I've sized this at 0.4 So that you'll be at 2/3 of the Nozzle diameter as this it the recommended maximum. This will give you the most leeway, to play with, in case your bed is way out.
Start with just the 4 Circles, to keep it quick and get you in the ballpark. Then you can move on to the 9 to get it dialed in. If you are using a mesh, I've included a 16 and 25 point to get it truly accurate.
In a perfect world all the Circles will look the same. The goal here is to get the lines of filament, as smooth and gap-less as possible. If your nozzle is too close you'll see the filament getting squished by the nozzle. leaving you with rough topped Circles. If it's too far, then there will be gaps.
Take your time, and start with getting the 4 circles right first. So you're not wasting time and filament.
