This is a set of three Christmas tree ornamrents that contain everybody's favorite aperiodic tiling: Penrose tilings! Each ornament contains a different tiling with fivefold symmetry. Additionally, the border of each ornament features everybody's third favorite irrational constant: Φ, which is found almost everywhere in these tilings, from the dimensions of the tiles, to the ratio of one tile to another as the tiling extends out to infinity. There are also two Fibonacci spirals on top of each ornament, because why not?
I printed mine only in clear PETG, but it is possible to do a filament swap and get one with two colors. If you print them at 100% scale (the ornament will be 92 mm in diameter), be careful removing them from the printbed. They contain several thin lines, especially the spirals. I broke three of them trying to remove them from the plate.
