Colorfabb 2.2kg Spool Holder

This spool holder is designed for Colorfabb 2.2 kg spools. By using bearings, it requires less effort for the extruder motor to bring the filament into the nozzle as a normal static spool holder, since the weight of the spool is significant. In fact, that big spool does not fit in the default Creality spool holder.

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2mm

Infill: 15-20% grid

Filament material: PLA

(Note: As this is quite a big print, I used 75mm/s print speed to speed things up a bit.

Print 4x base spool holder, 4x axle and 2x rail spool holder.)

POST-PRINTING :

• Step 1 : Glue the axle into the base spool holder and insert the bearings into the axle. Glue the end of the axle into the housing of the other part and do it for both parts.

• Step 2 : Insert the rails into the base slide and glue the end of the rails to the base.
