Model of a 17th -18th century Indian "Khanjarli" dagger. Inspired by the particular item in collections of the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Featured in the upcoming Prusa Academy Fusion 360 and 3D Print Postprocessing online courses.
The blade is intentionally left plain, without the blood grooves - to simplify things both in the modeling and postprocessing stages.
There are two versions of the hilt, with debossed details and with embossed details and gems.
It is modeled more or less in a 1:1 scale and can be scaled up max. 5% for the blade to still fit into the MK3S+ print volume in one piece.
When slicing it in PrusaSlicer, use the classic, not Arachne algorithm, otherwise, the blade tip ends up slightly jagged.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
