Layered xmas name decoration

This model prints better and faster in two colors. Nice if you print for a whole class. I scaled them down to 66% too.

The original model prints great with 4 colors to bring out the depth. I needed to quickly print 30 different ornaments, so I removed the background and printed with just the base layer.

One way to make your own:

Step 1. Use https://www.font-generator.com/3d-fonts/Waltograph/ or any other way to generate the text in STL, download it.

Step 2. Import the blank from model into Tinkercad or whatever software. Import the text STL.

Step 3. Make the text "hole", resize and move it to fit the space. Make the grid snapping to 0.5mm on the bottom right and shift the text up by 1.5mm. Select everything and merge it.

Step 4. In your slicer, make a filament change at 1.6mm and one at 2.6mm

Step 5. Print.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Original had a plain background, requiring 4 different filament colors, plus I find the open background to be prettier.
