An 80mm² lens-board for the Horseman 45FA field camera with a Copal #1 (41.6mm) opening.
This model has a 12mm extension on the front to allow better access to the controls of a given lens should it be required.
This is modelled as accurately as possible from an original Copal #0 lens-board.
I've been playing around with support settings for this one, using a method I saw on one of the Prusa Facebook groups.
Essentially it entails a zero-distance between the interface layer and the print, a manual pause (M601) to be inserted at the first solid layer to be supported, and a release agent to be added before the print resumes.
So far I have tried;
All of these release agents worked well, but Sharpie and PVA glue are by far the best.
Have a dig around in the supplied 3MF files for an idea of what I've been tinkering with.
General settings;
There's also a version with a chamfer to strengthen the join between the board and the extension, however after inspecting the print I really don't think this is necessary.
The final shows my attempts at using manual support structures on top of the interface layers, this gives a slightly different finish that may not necessarily be better but certainly makes the supports fall right off.
