The LTT Store screwdriver is fantastic. However, the extra bit storage is not. This modular bit holder is the perfect companion to your LTT screwdriver!

This design features several valuable features:

  • Its modular/stackable design allows for any combination of the LTT Store bit sets so you can customize it to your unique bit loadout. 
  • The magnetic version allows you to press fit a magnet in the bottom to hold the bits in their place securely. 
  • The nonmagnetic version has a tight fit on the bit shank. 
  • The embossed text makes each bit easy to find. 
  • The robust design can take a beating. 
  • There are models for the threaded and non-threaded bodies allowing for a clean look.
  • There is enough space on each side of the bit that allows you to easily grasp the bit.

Additional hardware

For the magnetic version, you will need a Ø6x1.5mm magnet. I used these from amazon. They say they are Ø6x2mm but they are really Ø6x1.5mm.

Instructions

No supports required. 15% infill, or greater. 0.2mm layer height or less.
Each 3MF file contains 2 color changes to make the embossed markings stand out. The 3MF files also contain a parameter change around the wall to remove small infill movements.

Pick a model using the selection matrix to the right. Here is a Key to the selection matrix:

  • BIT DEPTH: Length of bit the body is designed for.
  • MAGNET SLOT: Include a cut to press-fit a magnet into.
  • MARKINGS: The text/icons on the body to identify what bit goes where.
  • BASE: Threaded or non-threaded base. The threaded bases allow for another body to be fastened to its base.
  • EDGE: Knurling on the outside edge to allow for more grip.
  • LTT LOGO: Embossed LTT Logo on the lid. (NOTE: this will not be added until I get usage permission from LTT)

In addition to the bodies and lids, there is also a tool to help press the magnets into the body.

The Nerdy Details

  1. The dimensions of each body are Ø62x28.5mm
  2. The hex size on the nonmagnetic is 6.5mm and 6.6mm on the magnetic version
  3. The thread is an M58x2 thread.
  4. The Torx icon on the Torx body is a 1:1 scale T90
