This was a model made because I just moved, and in my old apartment, I had a spot I could lean my phone against to have videos/podcasts playing while I was showering. However, when I moved to my new apartment, I lost that little ledge. I decided it was time to make something that could hold it more securely.
It features a smooth curvy finish, a reinforced hook design, and holes to reduce wasteful filament usage and water build up. There's a stop built into it for the phone to sit at an angle, but there's a gap in-between the stop to allow you to tap the phone and see what's on it. I've tested it with an iPhone 13 Pro, but I also made sure it could fit the largest iPhone models too. Takes a day to print depending on infill.
Phones held in the model can be very tip-happy. I tried my best with the balance, but I've found it really isn't ideal in a lot of ways. Unfortunately, since my knowledge of Fusion 360 is limited, going back and making changes is a chore I'm not ready to deal with at the moment. However, the curtain does a surprisingly good job of keeping it in place, as it leans against it since it's inline with the curtain rod. Just don't bash it around too much and you're usually fine! Don't hold me accountable if your phone falls out. Print and use at your own risk!
I'd recommend printing with a durable material like PETG. The hooks tend to be brittle if using PLA. Give it a decent infill and it should last a lifetime! Takes awhile to print because of the large size,
