Description

PDF

100 x 100 x 4mm Bambu Lab build plate drink coaster with auto-bed leveling. I printed it using PETG but any filament should work. There are two versions. One with text and purge lines and one without (blank top).

For an A1 Mini version check out the Bambu Lab A1 Mini Build Plate Drink Coaster.

Used the default settings for the “0.16mm Optimal @BBLX1C” system preset except for the following:

Quality > Line width: 0.42mm
Strength > Walls > Wall loops: 3
Strength > Top/Bottom shell layers: 4
Strength > Sparse infill > Sparse infill density: 15%
Speed > First layer speed > First layer: 40mm/s
Speed > First layer speed > First layer infill: 85mm/s

Versions:

1. Bambu Lab Build Plate Drink Coaster - Flush Text  - Designed specifically for the Bambu Lab AMS or any printer that can print two or more colors. If you're using the Bambu Studio slicer follow these steps or just load the ‘3mf’ file.

  1. Load the step file
  2. Make sure you have at least two filament colors. The first one a light color (white) and the second one a darker color (black).
  3. Split the model ‘To Parts’
  4. Paint the model: I found that the best way to paint the coaster was to set the base filament color to the color that you want the text to be (light color). Then find the build plate part under “Objects” which should be the first part, then select the darker filament color from the ‘Filament’ color dropdown.
  5. Flip the coaster face down to get a smooth or textured top surface.

2. Bambu Lab Build Plate Drink Coaster - No Text No Purge Lines

UPDATE!!!

Added the optional “Bambu Lab Build Plate Drink Coaster - Platform Footer” model file. To make the coaster stick to surfaces better, print the model using TPU filament, then super glue it to the bottom of the Build Plate Coaster. Make sure that the Build Plate Coaster is aligned correctly before gluing or you might get a “HMS_0300_0D00_0001_0003 The build plate is not placed properly” error ;)

UPDATE: 12/31/2022

Added slotted version files that require no gluing.

UPDATE: 3/28/2023

“PLA” text was missing the “L”. Added additional test lines.

UPDATE: 09/16/2023

Added versions with updated flow calibration test lines.

UPDATE: 09/17/2023

Added additional settings that where in the .3mf files to the description.
