Skadis Turris Omnia Mount

This is a mount to attach the Turris Omnia open source router to an Ikea Skadis pegboard. It uses Skadis T-Nuts for secure installation. The mount creates a 5mm gap between the router and the pegboard to allow air flow.

Printed Parts

Printing

Print the parts in the original orientation. All STL and 3MF files are pre-rotated for printing. Check out the Skadis T-Nuts page for T-Nut print settings.

Print Settings

• Material: PLA, PETG, etc.
• Layer height: 0.2mm
• Extrusion width: 0.4mm
• Perimeters: 3 or more
• Infill: 20%

Assembly

Step 1 - Preparation

1. Push the M2.5 nuts into the back of the Skadis T-Nuts
2. Push the M2.5x12 screw through the Mount
3. Screw the T-Nut onto the M2.5 screw and leave a gap of about 2mm between the T-Nut and the Mount
4. Repeat this for all 4 Mounts (2x A, 2x B)

Step 2 - Install the Mounts

1. Install the mounts as shown below
2. Leave 1 empty hole between the mounts horizontally and 4 empty holes vertically
3. Tighten the M2.5 screws but do not overtighten

Step 3 - Install Turris Omnia

1. Remove the wall mounting plate from the router if attached
2. Place the Turris Omnia router between the 4 mounts
3. Align the the holes
4. Use the M3x6 countersunk screws to attach the router. You can reuse the screws from the router's housing.
