Description
PDFI designed this rim and tire combo to replace the wheels on a strider bike for children with smaller legs. This wheel is approximately 8" in diameter (200mm actually)
The rim I printed with PETG and requires supports. I used 4 perimeters for strength.
The tire was printed in Ninja Flex TPU with 2 perimeters and 20% infill, feels like a realistic amount of squish.
The inner race spacer keeps the bearings from taking too much preload.
The tire needs to be stretched slightly over the rim and the interface is keyed to keep the tire from slipping.
