Description

PDF

A very easy to build Variometer for flight simulation. In analogy to my Airspeed Indicator it comes in two different versions: Either articulation by a SG-90 micro servo or with a 28BYJ-48 stepper motor (similar to my Altimeter).

UPDATE 2022-12-24: M4 screws now usable without nuts.
UPDATE 2022-12-29: New Stepper Version

Material needed:
4 Screws M4x20
1 SG-90 micro servo (including screws)
OR
1 28BYJ-48 stepper motor with SMD driver board
2 Screws M4x10

The stepper driver board can be clipped onto the rear of the base. For the gauge print either the pdf or the png at 84x84mm size.

Stepper Version:
Software for X-Plane 12 for the complete Sixpack can be found on Github MartinRusk/Sixpack (github.com)

Servo Version:
Software for X-Plane 12 and a PCB design available on GitHub within my Attitude Indicator project: MartinRusk/Attitude-Indicator (github.com)

Use with MobiFlight should also possible for MSFS2020, please refer to MobiFlight documentation.
