This is a snowflake tree ornament of Marie Curie.  The original design for paper is from the Franklin Institute.  I printed it in PLA, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers, 1mm perimeters.  It's 1.2mm thick, with the middle two layers intended to be printed with a transparent/translucent filament to allow light to pass through, hold it together better, and to give it more strength.

Marie Skłodowska Curie (1867-1934) was one of the most influential chemists of all time, noted for her discovery of the element Radium. Marie Skłodowska Curie was awarded the Elliott Cresson Medal by The Franklin Institute in 1909.
