Thermal Camera to Oneplus 8pro (Spigen case) support

Found this nifty USB-C thermal camera dongle (TC001) on Amazon recently. My phone case prevents it from plugging in so I had to get an extender. I didn't like the huge gap that was left between the phone and the dongle which could lead to breakage if it accidentally gets hit. So here's the fix. I made up a design that the phone & dongle slide into which helps support them as a unit.

It's a rather specific design in what it fits, but might as well publish it in case someone else might find it useful.
