A little game token with an integrated LED, powerd by 2 LR44 Batteries.

Things you need: LR44 Batteries, 2V LEDs, Magnets (3mm x 1mm and/or 3mm x 2mm), wire.

The token is made out of 2 parts; top and base.

Top: print the top in translucent filament (recommend neutral). In the top you can put a 2V LED of any color you want your token or use colored translucent filament with neutral LEDs. Solder two magnets to the pins of the LED and put/glue it in the top part.

  • No supports needed for printing

Base: Solder the wire to respectively one magnet. Glue the Magnets into the holes on top and bend the end of the wires up (as shown in the pics). !Dont overglue the magnets, since they are crucial for the voltage connection!

  • Supports needed for printing

I which direction you put the batteries in is not important since you can just twist the top if it dont light up. So no worries about polarization of the current flow. The magnets are strong enough to lift the whole token.

Note: recomment 3mm x 2mm magnets for either the top or base part for better connection. If you are patient and skilled enough, the 1mm height magnets would be enough.
