These are clips I used to attach light strings to my Jeep Gladiator JT. Should work for JL Wrangler and maybe earlier modes too. They've held up well at highway speeds. I printed these in ABS. PETG might work too. I'd avoid PLA as the engine heat might be an issue.
The Rain Rail Clip attaches to the gutter of the hard top. It holds the string up away from the door. The hood clips work well around the hood. The large gap version has a nub on the back that helps wedge it in place for the spots where the gap is larger.
The clip for the light strings is pretty tight. It can be widened with a large flat screwdriver during install and it will retract back.
