Lockheart-Lite

This is a heart themed puzzle box I designed with 17 pieces that need to be disassembled to reach the compartment inside!

Printing this design may be more difficult than my others. The files in this design have a lot of 45° overhangs that need to be tight for the mechanisms to function correctly. If your printer isn't well calibrated you may need to do a little sanding to get things to fit. Printing recommendations below:

Supports recommended - Stripe 9, Cap

Rotate 180°, supports not required - Stripe 1, Stripe 4, Stripe 6, Stripe 7, Drawer

Rotate 180°, supports recommended - Stripe 2, Stripe 3, Heart

Key - rotate 90° so that the teeth face down. Supports recommended

Lock - when printed should fit snuggly into Cap. Recommend scaling Z-axis until there's just enough friction to hold it in place.

As with many of my boxes the assembly is more difficult than the disassembly, especially determining which stripe goes where. I think this can be a fun riddle to solve, but  I've posted a disassembly video to reddit under the username mowens995 if riddles aren't your thing. (One note - the version in the video is more complex, but all the mechanisms in this version are shown there.)
