Fanatec GT DD Pro Magnetic shifter mod

Install

You need a 4mm Allen head/key to remove the 2 side bolts. I've printed from .48 heights (0.6mm nozzle) all the way to .15mm heights.  I used VHB 3m tape to bond the paddle side. 

Printing

I recommend the taller heights, less print time, it's a functional part but it's out of the way. I printed in PLA, and continue to monitor for any issues. especially since this design uses a lot less footprint than the other designs out there. You can print both flat. I didn't use supports but you can try it out and see if it works for u.

Magnets!

These use a retrofitted magsafe magnet. i had a worn moft magsafe phone holder and got a few of the magnets out (pretty easy, you need an exacto knife). While protoyping i had 1 side with 2 (total) of these magnets(not touching each other), and the other side with 4 of these magnets touching each other (you need at least 3 magnets to make contact). I found the latter (4) setup to be more tactile. But you can customize as you wish.  Mostmagsafe products will have magents you can superglue in place but to be safe, buy the moft one. I see these exist for cheaper so maybe try it and give feedback in the comments.
