Retro Christmas Tree Lights Revision was done to upgrade old lights from the year 1984. It is working fine already 4 years.
Original color shields inside the metal frames were partialy burned by classical hot 24V 3W bulbs. Electric cable was partialy damaged as well. It was dangerous because those 10 standard 24V bulbs was connected serially directly to 240 Volt wall socket.
I decided try to save this retro Christmas decoration.
New color shields were printed on 3D printer and clasic 24V 3W lamps were replaced with 3V LED diodes. Original cable was replaced as well and LED diodes were conected parallely. DC 3V power supply is used now. Cable and LEDs are soldered to the original clamps. See pictures for details.
