The build can be printed as a stand alone, but I created it as an attachment for my Wall hanged portafilter station
https://www.printables.com/model/284417-wall-hanged-portafilter-station-for-delonghi-stilo
I printed mine using PLA , using .28 layer height with infill and perimeter overlap of 50%.
Supports are needed since there are a lot of overhangs
- The top part has a sacrificial part for the mouth where you pull out the paper, import it as a single part then add support to build plate
- The lower part needs support for the outer lip
-The spring bed can be printed upside down so that you wont need to use supports, but you might lose the rippling detail, otherwise print as is with supports
If you already owned a rather soft large spring, you can forgo printing the 3d printed spring
but if you are using the 3d printed spring, Please resize the X and Y dimension of the spring to 160%, the spring I generated from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1690305 was too small in the X and Y dimension. you can also resize the scale of Z to 90 or 80 % if 100% scale is too big/strong for you
