8x nuts - M3 (plus another 4x if you want to be able to stack another gearbox on top)
4x socket cap screws M3x14 up to M3x20 (plus another 4x if you want to stack to another gearbox)
4x socket cap screws M3x10
all parts were printed with PLA filament using a Prusa MK3S at 0.2mm layer height
planetary_gearbox_-_case_lid.stl: printed no supports required 0.2mm layer height
planetary_gearbox_-_case_bottom.stl: printed no supports required 0.2mm layer height
planetary_gearbox_-_planet_carrier.stl: requires supports, 0.2mm layer height
planetary_gearbox_-_sun_gear.stl: printed no supports required 0.2mm layer
4x planetary_gearbox_-_planet_gear.stl: printed no supports required 0.2mm layer (depending on accuracy of your printer and filament, you might need to scale to 99% or less)
- 4 nuts fit snuggly into side of planet carrier
- 4 nuts fit into case bottom
- 4 nuts fit into case lid
- each of the 683ZZ bearings fit snuggly into each of the planet gears. Then the m3x10 screw connects the planet gears to the carrier and should rotate easily (dont over tighten)
- the 6806-2RS bearing fits over the top side of the carrier
- the 625-2RS bearing fits under the carrier and the sun gear fits snuggly in, there are no fasteners for the sun gear
1. The M14-M20 screws attach the lid to the base in every other hole. The other holes are to attach a second carrier
