This is a custom shroud for the Zotac RTX 3070ti Trinity GPU, using Arctic F9 PWM fans. It is possible this will work with other Zotac 30 series Trinity cards, but I cannot confirm.
The stock card is undercooled and the fans are badly designed, so they're quite loud, hence this upgrade. Using 3 Arctic F9 PWM fans and this shroud you can bring temperatures and noise levels down.
The design was inspired by the EVGA “4090” card, of which they made only 20 engineering samples before dissolving their partnership with nVidia.
Alongside the printed parts you will also need:
- 3x Arctic Cooling F9 PWM fan
- 2x PWM to GPU PWM adapter
- 12x M3 nut (ISO 4032)
- 12x M3x25 bolt with alen head (ISO 4762)
Assembly is as follows:
- cut off the front flanges of the fans, keeping the height of the casing at 11mm
- cut off the fan cable and solder on the adapter cable, making the entire length about 20-30cm. One fan plugs directly into the GPU, the other two fans will have to be soldered together going into the adapter. You can also just use the included connectors, but this creates a huge mess of wires.
- glue in place 12 M3 nuts into hexagonal holes in the underside of the adapter plate
- after removing the shroud through the 6 screws accessible through the fan blades, attach the adapter plate onto the heatsink using the same holes and screws
- place the fans onto the adapter plate, lining up the 4 corner holes with the ones in the plate
- route the cables through the notch in the adapter plate
- place shroud over the fans and screw the bolts through the fan into the nuts on the underside of the adapter plate
- plug fans into the GPU
Enjoy your cooler and quieter GPU!
