I have built a 4WD car and programmed it to be controlled by phone. However, it didn’t look quite right, so I designed a new body. Since my printer isn’t large enough, I scaled it down slightly (to 97.5%) in PrusaSlicer. The result turned out really well! :)
It even fits the original chassis (at least the side screws do). I also created a chassis design based on the original, so I can scale that as well if needed.
During printing, I noticed two errors, which I’ve fixed in the shared project. Specifically, the bridges were too long (as shown in the last photo). While they’re still somewhat long, my print was successful even with bridges twice as long, so it shouldn’t be an issue now.
Feel free to print it if you'd like! :)
Grid infill is crucial here as some sections are hard printable without support, grid help here a lot.
No brim and skirt.
Print without support (depend of the printer probably).
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
