I use a large tarp to create a covered hangout and cooking space when camping, this allows me to support the center of the tarp without tearing it. My first print was PLA+ and it got warm enough to deform that so I remade it in PETG, that has worked well for several trips and high heat so far. I coated the top of them with plastidip to create some friction against the tarp, but I still recommend using guy lines to hold the poles in place.
I'm not sure how necessary this step is, but I sliced it so that the top centimeter and bottom ring for guy lines are both solid with the middle of the part just having infill for extra strength. It seemed safer to over engineer it than having it break in a wind storm.
Step and fusion 360 files are included in case you need to modify any dimensions.
