This is a handheld pendant switch assembly. I made it for a custom piece of equipment, but similar ones are used on hoists and winches etc.

This was designed around a specific switch I had on hand that uses M12 threads and a nut for panel mounting (Manufacturer Part # KB15CKW01-5C-JC digikey part# 360-1984-ND)
That size is fairly common, so other similar switches should work also.

The case is designed to screw together, I used #4-40 machine screws, but M3 should also work.

The button protector is an optional separate part, which I glued in place, but the buttons and their retaining nuts would have held it as well.
