Lithophane Moon Lamp with G9 bulb mount

This is 75% scaled down remix with mounting point for G9 LED bulb. Approximately 15 cm wide and 23 cm tall.

Update! New stand available. I decided to design new stand for lamp, this one is much stronger and stable than original one. Print moon-lamp.stl and connector.stl, then choose G9 housing that fist your bulb insert. Glue together bulb housing, connector and moon-lamp - do not forget about the wires!

Old version. If you want to use old version print just the Moon lamp stand for G9 bulb and G9 housing.

Use G9 mouting appropriate for ceramic insert you buy (I realised there are more than one standards…). I used silicon to glue cord to the stand and to glue bulb mount to the stand.

Use moon-globe from original model and scale it down to 75%!

Tip: the more soft cord you buy, the better experience will be.

I used standard white PETG for the moon and black matt PLA for the stand. Choose bulb with light with more Kelvin (less yellow, more white).

I printed stand with 4 walls and fuzzy skin feature in Cura - looks great!
