This little companion brings a little light into the darkness.
tip: Print the body in Glow in the Dark filament for a soft afterglow effect.
The base consists of 3 parts that can be press fitting assembled. No glue, screws or other things needed! On top of the base the body is mounted (the diffuser) and above that the wings and the 2 eyes. Everything is modular so you can experiment with colors a lot.
I printed everything with 0.4 nozzle, layer thickness 0.2 and without support.

A 5mm LED (head is Ø4.75) is required for the base. I used a low version, but a normal length would also do.
One lead is bent right under the LED and the second lead is bent 3mm lower. Both leads fall into a printed channel.

Provide a slight kink up/down (see photo bottom view of base top below) so that the leads always press against the battery when it is retracted.
Check which side is the cathode and anode of the LED before you bend it. The anode (longer lead) should touch the + side of the battery, so this is the one bend directly at the base of the led.
The LED can be switched on by simply sliding in the battery drawer. By pulling the drawer out ± 1 cm, the LED goes off. The battery should be placed with the + side up.
