Description

PDF

This is to be applied to a 3rd party sheets.
The printer will scan this code just like it does on the official sheets.

I could not find anything that worked for me. So I designed my own from scratch.

-

Download and print the pdf file to scale (8x11 sheet of paper)

You do not need to 3d print the stl. One must be added to uploaded however.

Once printed. Cut and trim one of the QR codes roughly about 10mmx10mm

Glue it to your bed.

I simply place mine on with a glue stick. Then added one drop of epoxy resin and coated the top.
I use resin because it will make the paper water proof.

I have printed ASA at 100/110c bed temperature without problem from the paper or resin.
Printer paper has a flash point of 233c
And resin around 177c

Please check with the paper and resin you use.

It should be placed
Roughly 10mm from the slated edge and 3mm from the front flat edge.
You can also use your old sheet to help guide you.

The textured QR is untested. I added the smooth QR to my texture sheet. All works great. I currently do not believe the printer is checking if it is texture or smooth QR. But simply checking if it can read a known QR code.

Remember to give the design a heart / like and check out my youtube channel for tech support on a ton of things.

****EDIT

Some have asked for a printable stl. I have now added one. Be sure to print it in high temp filament like ASA or PC. A 0.2mm nozzle may be better for printing these.
