World of Warships and Printables have joined forces to bring one of the most detailed models of a famous naval vessel to the 3D printing world. Meet the American "semi-armored" cruiser USS St. Louis—a classic historical example of warship design in the age of steel and steam.
When creating ships in World of Warships, we pay utmost attention to detail and respect the historical accuracy of every one of its component parts. Created by talented Prusa designers with the idea of printing in top-notch quality on FDM printers, this model does not require supports and can be assembled with little to no glue. It's easy and fun to print and assemble!
With this collaboration, we are giving everyone an opportunity to obtain this ship in both realms—in the virtual battlefields of our game, as well as in its fully tangible 3D printable form. Feel free to carefully admire cruiser St. Louis’ virtual model or even try her in battle in our game.

Printing tips:
Constructed at the height of the era of “gunboat diplomacy”—when a warship’s intimidating appearance was as important as its combat capability—this 1906 US Navy warship more than lived up to the expectations of her times. She was armed with fourteen 152 mm guns along with dozens of smaller caliber emplacements. St. Louis made her presence known around the world in her 24-year career—most notably when serving as a convoy escort and troop transport during and in the aftermath of World War I.
Captains steering St. Louis into battle in World of Warships will find the historical cruiser’s heavy arsenal of weaponry well reflected in the game, as she is one of the most heavily armed cruisers at Tier III. They will also enjoy the comforts of having one of the best armor schemes and health pools at her Tier. Being an older ship, however, she isn’t exactly the fastest boat on the block.
