🇧🇷 Bem-vindo a Brasil!

Welcome to Brazil!

This model was designed by Dany Sánchez  in both regular version and MMU.

Sugarloaf Mountain is one of the most famous and attractive landmarks of Rio de Janeiro, and Brazil, right after the Corcovado's  Christ the Redeemer. Sugarloaf mountain is a natural rock formation and park with army bases at its base and a cable gondola ride that goes from the second highest to the highest point in the park, at 396 m (1,299 ft).

It is named sugarloaf, in Portuguese "Paõ de Açúcar", because of its truncated conical shape, reminiscent of the blocks in which refined sugar was transported in the times of sugar plantations and trade to Europe (from Wikipedia).

MiniWorld 3D is happy to bring this historical model to life as a homage to all the people of Brazil. This model was created from scratch by hand and brain in parametric software to ensure printability, using photographs and blueprints to create a beautiful and stylized version of your favorite landmarks.  Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture!

Printing Tips

Suggested parameters:

For better details, print slow, such as 15 or 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 12%

No supports needed, this has been optimized to eliminate all overhangs.

The MMU files are labeled accordingly and with a color suggestion in the name. You can print the "sea" separately if you can't have more than 4 colors at a time.

Also, print the gondolas separately, by themselves, and use a thin wire or thread to create the "cable" ride, there are two hoops provided for that.
