This remixed version has the following changes:

  1. The 2 parts can be clicked together, so no need to use pins to connect.
  2. Made a closed slot where the panel slide in. Now they are fixed in place.

Mounting:

  1. Just slide the 2mm (max) acrylic plates in the 2 T-slots, which creates a bended plate. Begin at the top and slide it carefully down. I used a 2mm 855x400 sheet, but the length is up to you. I like it to be flush with the bottom of building plate and top of the printer.
  2. Connect the 2 parts. Maybe it needs a bit of force (little tap of a hammer). Put one side in the T-slot, lift the other half a bit up and force it in the T-slot. You can also place the part seperately in the slots and then connect them.
  3. Slide the acrylic plate in the slot of the cover plate. Start at one side and move towards the other side. Now place the top cover and slide the whole assembly into position.

I added 2 test prints, so you can check the fit of the “snap-fits”. It works fine with my prints, but every printer prints different.

Settings and material:

eSun black PLA+

20% infill

Support for the snap-fits (very little)

Max speed on the Flsun V400

Important!

When you use this enclosure, please take care to modify the cooling of the electronics on top of the machine. Close the vent slots and rise the top lid (for example).

These mods worked very well for me:
