For a long time I've been soldering using the typical bendy style third arms and it's a nightmare. Somehow I always manage to knock them over or worse. they lack the strength to hold what I'm working on and they tend to get tangled with wires.
I set out to solve this problem and this is what I came up with, a simple small stand that can hold boards either by their sides or top and bottom, doesn't tip over and takes little space.
