Batarang (1989 folding)

Batman's signature weapon, the Batarang. This is based on Tim Burton's 1989 folding Batarang from the movie. This was my first time modeling with surfaces in Fusion360, it was a challenge, but worth it. Getting the lines to flow like the movie prop required a LOT of revisions, and I'm still tweaking. It's three unique parts, but four will be needed for assembly, center left, center right and two copies of outer.

This is a work in progress, I'm still trying to find the best way to make it snap into position. Currently I'm using a combination of 1/16" shock cord and 5x3mm magnets.

Print instructions

I'd recommend SLA printing for this, my test prints have been mostly done on an Elegoo Mars, but my first print was done on my i3 Mk3 and turned out ok.
