Since it takes 2+ months for manufacturing the machine, I came up with a design that is printable with FDM printers and can be given away as a present for the time till delivery.

When slicing, ignore the empty layer gap warning of the coffee filter, it's just a small dot on top that cannot be printed.

Printing Instructions:

  • For quality reasons, projects is split into 5 parts.
  • Scale the model (it's almost 10cm high, 5cm work just fine)
  • Hide the seam at the back.
  • Filter and Body need support.

Use 2 (or 4 as in the pictures) 8mm x 2mm round magnets to attach the filter to the machine. Or glue it to the roof, alternatively. If you like to make inserts / pockets for the magnets, add modifiers in PrusaSlicer (AFTER scaling) to suit your magnets' dimensions. Not required, but recommended.

Filaments: PLA silver & Wood (for the handle)

UPDATE: Added a miniature key fob which was printed on a SLA printer.
