Love the model but my 1st attempt I failed with the spring printing since I had supports ... To those who managed printing the spring how did you proceed ? I used PLA. Thanks for sharing any printing tips with a newbie.

Update : the nose is in place ... I used a bottle of wine cork to replace the spring ... Thinking of modeling a pink cylinder to replace the spring and to glue the whole thing so that it don't bé a complete fail ... (edited)

I recommend using tree support for everything.

Print looks really cool, but...

The head is way to heavy and the spring is not strong enough, so the spring is pushed completely down and the head won't wobble.

I printed in original size on Bambulab A1 Mini and used Basic PLA.

Perhaps the head should be printed with less infill?

Edit: Added the used material (edited)

Not only does it bounce, it perfectly resembles the original.
The left one is printed in 100%, the right one is scaled to 65% with fuzzy skin to try to hide the layer lines.
For the springs I used snug supports all the way up and stretched the spring a good bit after cooling down.
Assembly worked great, really a perfect model. Thank you!

@m4rl0ne_1655462 If I remember correctly it should have been Bambu Basic PLA. It is important to really stretch out the spring after printing. You can also cut it afterwards as it tends to get too long to look good.

@Lightwalker87 even stretching the spring doesn't solve it. the spring is not weak, even if i make a head half the weight, it would go completely down.
i tried putting some lighter stuff on the spring, and 17 gram would make it, but no way we can print a 17 g head with the same size compared to the original 76 g.
