Prusa MK3/2(s) Copperhead Groovemount Hotend Adapter

June 1, 2020 - This is a first pass at my Slice Engineering's Copperhead groove mount hot end adapter. There may/will be some changes as I test it out but I just wanted to get it out there for other early adopters.

Print instructions

Notes an installing:

• Assemble the Copperhead as shown in the photograph and diagram
• Insert a PTFE tube all the way into the Copperhead
• Snap the Copperhead into the Extruder Body to mark PTFE cut point
• Remove PTFE to get straight cut and bevel inside of PTFE top
• Use Prusa stock parts for fan mount, nozzle shroud and sensor assembly

Notes on printing:

• Sorry for orientation. Will fix. Print Motor Mount and cover 180 rotated
• Extruder Cover has an indent with Copperhead logo
• Also provided is the logo if you have MMU capabilities
• Standard print specs - PETG - 15% fill - .20mm Quality

Note on maintenance:

There is a small hole inside the baffle which gives you access to the heat break tension screw. This will allow you to remove (drop down) the heat break/heat block assembly without taking the extruder apart. Just remove the cooling fan to access it.
