Print in place adjustable kickstand for DeckMate system for Steam Deck.

2 versions:

  1. short - deigned to work with my double vertical DeckMate compatible “case” plate available here.
  2. long - designed to work better with standard mount point positioning on DeckMate, untested.

Printing requires that your printer can print 45° overhang and maintain 0.2mm spacing without fusing parts together.  The hinge relies on proper spacing between 2 parts, you can adjust it slightly by adjusting your extrusion multiplier. If you find it prints fused or too difficult to change position try lowering it or increasing it when too loose. There will always be some play between steps but it should not slip under the Deck weight.

Since the teeth on the hinge are quite fine I recommend printing at .2mm or lower layer height and with .4mm nozzle to make sure they have appropriate definition.

EDIT 2022-12-01: Added V2 of the models with tighter hinge. Can possibly be more difficult to print but printed for me just fine. All other aspects of the models are unchanged in relation to V1.
