Do you take tablets every day and want to keep them to hand but the boxes are way too bulky to stick in your overnight bag? I gotcha!
I originally designed some stacking pill pots a while back but they are bulky. I realised recently while playing with vase mode that I can do the same thing with a lot less material, and a lot quicker... the only downside is that you can't print a whole plate overnight*, but at 13 minutes per pot (or 7 minutes for a small one), I don't think it's that bad afternoon.
These print faster, are smaller in all dimensions, hold more tablets and only use 18.3g of filament versus 58.7g for the original models.
There are 3 sizes, all have an internal height (with the lid on of about 17mm. The large pot has an internal diameter of 31mm, the medium is 23mm and the small is 18mm.
UPDATE: Added 'deep' branding/text on the lids. - if you're printing in PETG or on a textured bed, or in a dark filament.... it may not be as clear as it could be. See the blue lid pic. The one on the left is the deep version.
When you take the tablets at the top of the stack, put the empty pot at the bottom, ready for the next day.
Take tablets in the morning and evening? no problem, I've added lids with text so you can tell the difference. There is also a blank lid so you can write on what you like.
Want to lie the stack down? No problem, there is an anti-roll lip. This means you can stash the tower on their side in a cabinet and still see the text.
The lid doesn't print in vase mode. It stops the top compartment being bigger than the others. Sorry inner OCD, but also has the lettering.
Print one in a different colour to denote refill day?
There is also a non-stacking base in case you just want to stash a single dose somewhere.
Prints well in PLA (Preusament Galaxy Silver in the photos) and PETG (Prusa Carmine Red in the photos)
* You could print a plate overnight but just not using the vase mode which means you'll just get the z-seam and the screw action may not be great.
