I installed the Bondtech LGX Shortcut Mosquito hotend on my Prusa Mk3S and it worked well. That is until I put in in an enclosure, then the limits of the Shortcut's very short heatbreak became evident by the fact that i was getting jams due to heat creep. After some research I found that Bondtech recommends a 4020 fan where as in the Mk3 setup it uses a 4010 (they note that a 4010 "should work"). The problem is that simply swapping fans would cause a collision with the Z-axis bearings. This is my solution, it simply angles the fan in a way that it avoids the bearings. It seemed to do its job since I no longer have problems with jams when the enclosure heats up.

I attached the fan to the adapter with #4 thread rolling screws, but you could probably use anything that fits the hole, just know there aren't threads in the fan-to-adapter holes, so use a thread forming screw, wood screw, or something that will cut threads in the plastic. They are intentionally modeled smaller for this reason.

I also decided to take the opportunity to add a mount for a borescope nozzle camera. The camera mount is still a work in progress as the alignment isn't perfect, but it could work for you, if you already have a borescope then give it a try and see if it works for you. I included both versions if you just want the fan adapter.

I printed mine with the new Prusament PA11 Nylon and it worked great. I would think that PETG or even PLA would probably work fine since it has a fan constantly blowing thru the part, but it hasn't been tested.
