This push-release support for remote is a remix of the 2 following:

It is made to store your TV remote under your table, shelf, etc. Push your remote inside up to “CLICK” for storage, lightly push “CLICK” and it will be released.
I remixed it to fit my TV remote, to use rubber band instead of spring, and to use the least possible screw.
You will need 2 small rubberband, about 3 cm diameter.
The fixing screw holes are closed to avoid using support (just finish drilling after print or check customize section hereunder).
Cover part is optional, you must use it only if the surface where you will attach the support is not smooth (eg: old wooden table, etc.).
The STL provided are for my TV Sony Bravia 2022 remote (width about 40 mm and length about 175 mm).
As I have several remotes, I used the “user parameters” function of Fusion360 to quickly change size and adapt the model for other remotes.
Feel free to adapt it to your remote size with the F3D file. Open the file in Fusion360, at the top toolbar, press Modify > Change Parameters.
"RemoteWidth" is width of the inside of the support. Take a little margin on each side for smooth sliding of your remote. Default is 42 mm, if you need less you might need to manually edit the sketch with the mecanism pattern.
"RemoteHeight" is height of the inside of the support. Take a little margin at the top for smooth sliding of your remote.
“SupportLength” is length of the “support” part. Must be less than your actual remote length. Default is 120 mm (my remote is 175 mm long). If shorter, you may need to edit manually the sketch to reposition the fixing screw support.
“HoleDiam” is diameter of fixing screw holes.
“HoleDepth” is here if you want to completely drill the holes. If holes are closed, no need for support while printing (by default they are not fully drilled).
“CoverThickness” is for cover thickness (default 2 mm).
I am still learning new things with Fusion360, maybe the file was not made in the optimal way, I still hope it will work well for you to customize.
Feel free to ask me for help if needed, and I'm open for critics to improve the file and my skills ! :)
