With four keys it is only 11mm thin because you can attach two keys on each hole. One cover is provided with Brass nuts, use M4 short.
For the other side I designed three different covers for M4 screws. One for countersunk, one for countersunk with seal and one for lenshead screws (a seal can also be used here).
You need a small seal (OD 8mm, ID 4,5mm, 2mm string) as shown in the pictures so that the screws do not loosen so quickly by moving the keys (Take care that the keys do not get lost).
Possibly a weak threadlocker or medium strength threadlocker for the thread is also a solution.
If you have an odd number of keys, you can use the spacers to keep the covers parallel.
The small spacers can also be placed between the keys if they are difficult to slide.
I printed with Greentec Pro Carbon with 0,6 Nozzle and 0,15 Layer height, 50% infill
Update 11/22:
After testing a few days, I recommend the lenshead cover with a ring seal and a countersunk screw M4 (length depending on how many keys are used).
Through the seal, the screw does not loosen (quickly) when turning the keys.
Update 10/23:
Info: I have the key organizer now a year in use and despite daily use never had to retighten the screws
