Hexa (6) Bearing Fidget Spinner

This was created by one of my 7th grade students as part of a Genius Hour project. It's a large spinner with 6 outside bearings and one inside bearing. We used Bones Redz for the center bearing and inexpensive bearings for the outside.

Post-Printing

Use a vice to insert bearings into the holes on the spinner. Add finger pads (not included in this design) if desired!

How I Designed This

My Advanced STEM classroom works on Genius Hour projects every Friday. During this time, students are encouraged to explore an aspect of engineering that is interesting to them. One of my students wanted to design fidget spinners that were different than the common tri-spinner design. This is the result of the project
