Fantastic design, prints so efficiently in vase mode!
Mine was leaking at the base, I think because I enabled the 'Smooth spiral' setting. Lucky for me it's ABS, so I poured in a tiny bit of acetone, swirled it around, and let it dry. Now it's water tight!

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Happy to read it works with ABS as well. 🙂

It survived the waterproof test.

@Verender wow, did you do the filament switch on the fly?
Cheers

@nilson_fx Yes because i was running out xD

Simple but cool, and surprisingly strong design. I did PETG @ 0.8mm walls(out of a 0.4 nozzle).

Shortened up the bottom to reduce print time.

Sealed the inside with wipe on polyurethane to ensure water tight, they work good!

@AkAdventurer looking great. Thanks for sharing 🙂

@Verender looks great. Thanks for sharing your make 👍

printed in VM mode, took bit more than 2 hours (I played with printer speed and was printing on 150% most of the time). It holds water and does its job quite well :)

@GeorgsSpolis_380131 looks great in yellow. Thanks for sharing.

It's simply functional! Just make sure try printing it with best possible layer adhesion. I used some no-name brand PLA but with settings at 5 degrees higher than usual, and it seems to hold water without leak at least for a minute or two, which is perfectly good enough for watering can.

One thing though is that the thin part opens up as you put water close to the top - but I still like the unique esthetic more than anything. (edited)

@iorippi_136497 thanks for the feedback. One thing you could try is set the outer wall to 0.8mm in your slicer. This should make the middle section connect.

@nilson_fx Oooh I didn't know such trick! (Obviously I didn't read your short note! Dumb me. Thanks for the note. Hope nobody misses that anymore!)
