I like wireless mice but find the Logitech inductive mouse pad expensive, so I designed this charger. I have tried it on the G703 Lightspeed and PRO wireless but it should work on other Logitech lightspeed mice as well. I take no responsibility for broken mice.

Parts:
USB Cable
5x5 mm neodymium magnets

For this to work, you need to remove the backplate of the mouse so that the charging ports are exposed.

Thread cables through holes and solder the wires to the magnets. Mind the magnetic poles! Align them by sticking them to the charging ports of the mouse. Only then solder wires to the magnets. See pictures for correct cabling. The magnets are supposed to protrude ca. 0.5 mm from the openings as to ensure charging. Place a drop of superlue into each magnet opening in the model and place magnets into the model. If the magnets protrude too much because of i.e. too much solder, heat the magnets with the soldering iron and push the magnets into the plastic a bit. Be careful and fast as heat affects the magnetic capability of the neodymium magnets.
Secure the cable with some hot glue.
