Wiring for LED lights and triscope camera is tricky to manage on the Amscope microscope. I tried gaffer tape and velcro but was never satisfied with the result. This is a pair of cable guides to stop the cables getting caught in the movement. Combine this with a spiral wrap or textile sleeve for added protection.

Print instructions

The first piece "cable guide" fits to the front of the scope. Print flat on the bed with support "Everywhere". Sandpaper the plug piece until it can be inserted under moderate pressure from fingertips. Use the hex holes for zip ties.

The second piece "rear guide" comes in two parts. Print the first part "rear guide clip" with support "Everywhere". Print the second part "rear guide seat" without support. Then push fit them together. Glue is not required. The piece slips over the pipe and clips onto the body.

Now feed the cables through both guides and hold down with zip ties. The scope's arm can extend and retract without fouling the cables.
