a fun project for printing your own fountain pen body. the nib and feed are a jowo nib unit designed for use with conklin or monteverde pens. I bought mine form goulet pens.
This is not a remix but was heavily inspired by the Alma pen found here

Most notably the threads the very front of the section. I found that did a much better job of keeping the nib wet than a 3d printed snap cap.
I wanted something slimmer however so I put together something different. The clip is an obvious weak point and I expect to glue it back together at some point. I also added and ink window, a feature I really appreciate on lamy pens. The threads on the back of the pen body allow you to cap the pen securely as well.
you will need supports under the clip.
I printed at 0.2mm. it works at that height but it would look better with finer layers.
use a brim, I uses s 7mm brim
This was a fun project and I'm excited to try it again with different nib units and more ambitious pen designs.
