Ruger Backpacker 84 rd ammo box 22LR

This is an Ammo Box for the Ruger 10-22 Backpacker Stock. It is designed to fit inside the stock where the 2 back magazines and divider go. There is no need to modify your existing backpacker stock or use the cheek riser. This will hold 84 rounds and if you have 10 in the spare mag and 10 in the mag in the gun it gives you 104 rounds on board your gun. The box is printed in this orientation to aid fitment into the stock and maximize capacity. The rounds need to be inserted into the box alternating the direction of the bullets to get all 84 to fit properly. So one up one down and then the opposite on the next row. See pics for more detail. The lid is designed to be pretty tight to retain the ammo. If it is too tight you can scale it up 1% or 2% in your slicer to get a looser fit.

Print the lid and box with the open end up and at standard 0.2mm print quality, this helps keeps the box closed.

I used a Brim for both parts but I'm sure it would print ok without it.

Edit: I created a horizontal orientation for easier filling. Both versions work well and fit in the Backpacker stock without any modification and both hold 84 rounds of 22LR.
