Description

PDF

This is bobbleDuck - a version based on 3D Printy Bobbleheads using Swingy - the swinging duck from lab_dis - a great model to be used for Bobbleheads.

Great to watch after your print sitting on the hotend.

Works well on your fridge or oven :)

PRINTING

  • 3MF files attached with all configurations. Gcode as well if needed.
  • There are files for each piece (body, feet and beak, base and spring) and for convenience a file grouping the body, the base and the spring (which have the same color, the feet and beak of the duck should be in a different color - orange being the best option I guess).
  • I prefer to print support for the body to be real clean but it works well without support.
  • PLA is working fine for all pieces

ASSEMBLY

  • You will have to glue the feet and the beak to the body.
  • You will also have to glue the spring to the base and inside the body
  • and finally the 6x3 magnet (if you want to use a magnet) underneath the base.

I actually designed this model to add a gift (in case you don't have one) inside 3DPrinty Dracula's Tower puzzle (for which I designed a Gift box). You can't seriously offer this great puzzle without a gift inside… This BobbleDuck fits perfectly inside the maze.

I closed the loop so there is a gift inside the puzzle inside the gift box :) so 3 times the fun of having 3 nice objects - the boobleDuck, Dracula's tower puzzle and the gift box (which could be then used as a jewelry box).
